I began to paint this painting during my christmas-break but I put it away and continued with it this weekend.
Mind and Soul This kind of represent my own mental stat right now... I kind of have a smaller breakdown and this is showing how I see on the depression and anxiety. You just feel alone, alone.... I must say something about the hand.... God I love the hand to the right. Why would I put hands in my painting? I think that hands are the most frightening thing on a human being, they are threatening. (even though I must say that they can be gentle and caring aswell...) I don't know how others with anxiety feel but I get very tensed and a bit paranoid. The hands are symbolising that abstract part that just seems to be watching and threatening me.... Really love this one...  |
